Project Description
A new 8’ pathway will be constructed on the south side of Bluffton Parkway from Bluffton Road (SC 46) roundabout to the existing pathway at Soperton Drive. The pathway improves pedestrian and bicyclist safety as it allows an individual to remain on the pathway without crossing at the Soperton Drive unsignalized intersection.
This project is one of the priority pathway/sidewalk projects.
Project Status
The project requires new R/W and the R/W acquisition process is beginning. Construction of the sidewalk is anticipated Summer/Fall 2021.
