Project Description
Beaufort County proposes to construct a new 6′ sidewalk on Broad River Boulevard from Broad River Elementary School to Riley Road and along Riley Road from Broad River Boulevard to Fair Road. This sidewalk is approximately 0.75 mile long and will improve pedestrian safety by providing a separate facility from the roadway. The project also includes improvements to the existing drainage systems adjacent to Broad River Boulevard and Riley Road. The proposed design will require new right of way.
