Project Description
Beaufort County proposes to construct Lady’s Island Middle School Access Road which consists of a new road from Sea Island Parkway/Gay Drive Intersection to Robin Drive/Katy Circle intersection with bicycle and pedestrian accommodations, and a 5’ sidewalk on Robin Drive to Sam’s Point Way. The new road will be a public road with two new driveway connections to Lady’s Island Middle School, and Cougar Drive will be closed at Sea Island Parkway. New driveways are also proposed for other properties adjacent to the new road. On Sea Island Parkway, a dedicated left turn lane for the new road will be incorporated and will require converting Ferry Drive to right-in/right-out only.

Project Description
Beaufort County proposes to construct Airport Frontage Road – Phase 2 which is a new road from Lost Island Road to Little Creek Road with bicycle/pedestrian accommodations, and it is proposed to close the Little Creek Road intersection at Sea Island Parkway. The proposed design is a realignment of Little Creek Road to tie to the new intersection of Lost Island Road and Airport Front Road – Phase 1. Access for Little Creek Road will be from Lost Island Road and Airport Frontage Road – Phase 1.
